Alti and Berel Rodal are co-founders of the Ukrainian Jewish Encounter, established in 2008 to promote understanding and solidarity between Ukrainians and Jews.

Alti Rodal is an historian, writer, former professor of Jewish history,
and former official of and advisor to the Canadian government. 

Berel Rodal is a former senior Canadian official, now active in international humanitarian, security and business organizations. 



Patrice Bensimon is the former Director of Research at Yahad-In Unum. Founded in 2004 by Father Patrick Desbois, Yahad-In Unum records testimony of witnesses to the mass shootings in Ukraine, Belarus and other parts of Eastern Europe, and locates the mass graves of Jews and other victims killed by the Nazis in the East.


Uwe Neumärker is Director of the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe in Berlin.





Anatoly Podolsky is Director of the Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies in Kyiv.





Daria Cherkaska is a forensic archaeologist at The Centre of Archaeology, Staffordshire University, focusing on the application of forensic archaeological methods to research and document the Holocaust in Ukraine.
